What makes the letter B Brave?  Other than the initial letter in the word, not a whole lot.  But when thinking about bravery, the Buffalo comes to mind.  When a buffalo encounters inclement weather instead of finding shelter, it charges directly into the storm knowing that doing such will reduce it's exposure times to the storm.  Charging headlong into a challenge is Bravery to me.
